Weetjes : De eucalyptus radiata is één van de meer dan 700 soorten Eucalyptus, allen afkomstig uit Australië. Van een kleine 20 soorten wordt op commerciële schaal etherische olie geproduceerd.

Opgelet : Niet verstuiven in aanwezigheid van astma-patiënten. Voor hen is Hyssop decumbens meer aangewezen. Massage: steeds macadamia-olie als drager gebruiken. Anders wordt de belangrijkste stof, 1,8-cineole, niet of nauwelijks via de huid verkrijgbaar.
